Project H.O.P.E. is a not-for-profit corporation organized to develop and implement programs designed to assist low-income individuals and families in achieving their highest economic, educational, physical, and social potential. Bellegrove Missionary Baptist Church is where the project currently runs. Established in 2003, Project H.O.P.E. achieves it’s objectives by providing: ◊ Alternative to incarceration for troubled youth, and other community members, by serving as a clearing house and referral source to community service programs; ◊ Youth Development programs including tutoring, career counseling, college preparation, computer training, and scholarship assistance to members of the community; and ◊ Economic empowerment programs, including workforce development and job training, and related assistance and supportive services, to unemployed youth and adults in the community in order to increase self-sufficiency, maximize job opportunities, and reduce unemployment in the community; and to assist employed members of the community to utilizing their earnings effectively in the community by addressing personal financial issues including credit, investing, and personal debt.

Bellegrove is one of the largest religious organizations in Syracuse with more than twenty-years of providing services to at-risk youth in the community. Located on the southside of the city, Bellegrove employs an holistic ministry striving to meet the physical, spiritual and mental needs of its congregation and outreach area.
