Goal
To enhance the capacity of each faith-based and community organization partner’s capacity through education and technical assistance.

Implement existing leadership training to all partner leaders and community organization managers.

Provide organizational development interventions to positively impact organizational change in board development, fiscal responsibility, needs analysis, operational effectiveness, and performance evaluation.

Establish and implement program standards (Kellogg Foundation model modified adaptation) to support organizational program development, assessment and integration.

Engage the area stakeholders in building a “learning community” integrating schools, businesses, churches, government and community organizations in uniting youth development efforts.

Desired Results
Partner leaders will be using 12 competency leadership skills in their organizations to enhance:

• Board development
• Strategic alignment
• Operational practices
• Program development as measured with ESA assessment

Organization development interventions provided will have documented goals and measures that, upon implementation, will realize 80% improvement in organization effectiveness and efficiencies. Program development training will result in 40 of 80 programs integrating resources and standards producing documented improvements and honored at award recognition.

Community development as an integral goal of coalition will have measurable milestones that will be met with 80% accuracy of time and outcome.
